After the Snowfall, Sledding Fun

It’s inevitable. After the snow starts falling right at the height of rush hour, causing commutes to Woodbridge to be multiplied 10-fold in some cases (we know of a woman who didn’t get home from work until 1 am), after roads get treated, after the snowfall finally stops, after the driveways get shoveled and the snow boots, pants, jackets and gloves get mined from the depths of closets, comes … sledding time!

With Prince William County Schools closed for the day, and plenty of snow on area hills, young sledders came out in great numbers to take advantage of the day off and great sledding conditions. On a hill in the Lake Ridge area, youngsters and parents came out to enjoy the fun of flying downhill. We hope you enjoy the gallery of photos.
