Potomac Point Winery’s Special Deal

Thursday, Dec. 24 — Our friends down the road at Potomac Point Vineyard and Winery are featured today on the Washington, DC, LivingSocial website as a “deal of the day.” For $39 (regularly a $78 value) you’ll get to tour their cellar, have a wine tasting as well as a bottle of their Heritage Reserve 2009, a souvenir glass, and 20% off any wine and gifts.

If you read our early review of Potomac Point</font?, which we wrote about at their “soft” opening, you’ll know we have a fondness for the place. It’s just a short drive down I-95 or Route 1 — you can easily make it there in under 30 minutes from anywhere in Woodbridge — on the historic Widewater Peninsula in Stafford County. And coming the day before Christmas, it wouldn’t be too bad of an idea for a last-minute gift.

It is so beautiful out there. It feels like you are on a Tuscan hill in italy. It is very easy to get to but it feels like you are so far away from it all. I highly recommend you pay them a visit.
