One Marine’s Life and Service

In a previous post regarding the demonstrations that Westboro Baptist Church had planned to hold in our area (not just in Woodbridge, but at Arlington National Cemetery, The George Washington University, Rockville, Md., etc.) we mentioned that they were planning to be at New Life Wesleyan Church in La Plata, Md., on Nov. 15 to protest at the funeral of Lance Cpl. Terry E. Honeycutt Jr., of Waldorf, Md. Lance Cpl. Honeycutt died Oct. 27 from wounds received Oct. 21 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was 19 years old. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
